A naming day is a beautiful way to shower your child with love, surround them with a village of people who care for them most and officially welcome them to your family.  

Each child that comes into our lives is special and unique, with their own qualities and paths to walk. Tokens of love given to the child on their naming day can become important parts of their history and identity within your family.  

Older siblings often enjoy celebrating their little brothers or sisters too! And this forms a great connection between siblings from an early age. Ritual and ceremony have been used for many years to nurture deep bonds between family members and communities all over the world. And today is no different.  

Celebrating our children and welcoming them into our families gives them not only a deep sense of identity but also a sense of belonging. Which is such a critical part of our mental and spiritual well-being as we grow.

It is a privilege to assist families in celebrating the life of a loved one. My Celebrations of Life have a strong focus on celebrating the life that was, rather than focussing on the loss. I encourage family and friends to experience gratitude and remember the good times. It is OK to cry, it is OK to hurt, these are important emotions in the grieving journey. But it is OK to laugh as well and recall joyful memories. When we focus on the positive impact that they had on our lives and talk about all the small things that made them who they were, we can feel their spirit and character among us.  

I will assist you through the process of structuring the Celebration of Life ceremony alongside your chosen funeral home. I am always open to any ideas that you may have in reflecting the life of your loved one during the service. Equally I can share options and ideas with you that will bring their story to life.

Women’s Circles

My mission is to create a safe space where women will be shown how to create their own sovereignty by deepening their understanding and connection to the natural world and the powers, they each hold within.  

I will mentor, support and guide women as they work on healing their inner self and blooming towards their full potential which will have a positive effect on all areas of their lives. As a circle facilitator it is not my position to judge, give opinion or even share my advice. It is about giving women the tools they need to decide their own clear paths. Beginning their journey to self-reliance, growth, positive surroundings and reaching their goals. 

Women who sit in circle naturally become leaders and mentors within their own communities as they value the strength and wisdom within the sisterhood. It is alarming to me how many women feel isolated and alienated in our society today. Let us all make a conscious decision to move towards a stronger sense of community for our mothers, our sisters, our daughters, and our friends. 

Appreciation and connection to nature, music, craft, ceremony, sharing within the group and meditation are some of the tools I use to lead women through their initiation into the sisterhood and beyond.
